About Lousia Afi Larbie

Physiotherapist

Physiotherapy is a profession which puts into consideration a person’s well being and above all quality of life. This therapy aims at bringing about optimal mobility, reducing pain and improving clients function.

I received my training as a physiotherapist at the European school of physiotherapy Amsterdam , University of Applied Sciences. During my study in Holland , I had 3 internships done – two based in Ghana at Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital in the Western Region and Ridge Regional Hospital here in Accra and one in Holland at Physiotherapies Heemraadsingel , Rotterdam Netherlands.

I moved back to Ghana in 2013 where I worked at 37 Military Hospital for a few months before moving to RIMA TheraTouch.

My journey through these hospitals and private practices has enlightened my knowledge and given me the opportunity to work with all patient categorized ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics. Each step of the way I found love in working with people, listening to them and giving them all the case needed.

I see a positive aspect to everything in life, which would include helping patients attain optimum quality in life.
